Award-winning cellist, composer, grant recipient, educator and interdisciplinary artist, Keely Mackey, performing as Celloquacious, creates unforgettable musical experiences through electroacoustic and electric cello, live looping, immersive soundscapes, and original elemental composition, sometimes with her visuals projected and with movement artists.
A high-profile collaborator, she has opened for cellist, Zoe Keating, at Meow Wolf and served as a local supporting tour musician for legendary Tibetan singer, Yungchen Lhamo. Further pushing the boundaries of live sound design, she performs as an ensemble cellist with the globally unique Folding Space Conduction Ensemble, utilizing a rare live-gesture conduction lexicon to co-create spontaneous symphonies in real time.
Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she performs throughout the Southwest and beyond for concerts, weddings, sound healing experiences, corporate events, festivals, retreats, public art installations and private celebrations.

A Unique Musical Experience
Using electroacoustic cello, six-string electric cello, live looping and carefully crafted ambient textures, Keely creates richly layered musical elemental (earth, air, fire, water & ether) soulscapes that move seamlessly between contemporary classical, ambient, world, cinematic, meditative and improvised music.
Her performances have been described as emotive experiences that create entire worlds and personal journeys for the listeners, which feel both deeply restorative and rejuvenating.
